Did Nkosi know he might have to wait two years

this thread proves that we either have the dumbest ******* fans on the planet, some incredible trolls, or a bit of both.

bottom line is this. Not for this defense and turnovers we would of lost 3 games. Some of the throws Malik misses are crazy. I am glad he is growing, and getting better. He has ice in his veins for sure. All I am saying his film demands an open competition. If Perry knows the playbook, and is as deadly accurate as I have heard. It will be hard to justify sitting him after a full off season.

He impressed everyone just had to fine tune his decision making and knowing the offense. If he develops into our best option in a year and puts the work in, then that is just what it is.

What a dumb ******* post.

If not for their defense, Bama would have 5 losses, yet they're not complaining about the QB.

This is Miami, we expect the defense to be elite. We just need a winner at QB, whether its Dorsey, Rosier, or someone else

Your level of hostility to my opinion, comes across as really defensive, like you don't believe yourself. Totally unnecessary. I agree with your Bama point, but my comment should be concluded as one thing. May the best man win! Period. That for me means every year. I am not dogging Rosier, or this season. However if he gets beat he gets beat. His tape demands a competition. If you like Rosier then you would want him to compete period. You want people at his heels, you want the competition to produce a hunger for excellence. Nkosi came in as a highly touted prospect, if he can beat him why would you hold him back? I don't want anything to be given to anyone, I just want the best option. If that turns out be Rosier then just like this year, that is what is best. What is dumb about that?

Malik has a lot of intangibles that have gotten him to 11-0 that don't show on tape. Over the course of a game, with the help of the defense, he finds ways to win games. Leadership. The trust of his team. Once you find a winning formula, especially at qb, you let it ride. Like a previous poster said, unless N'kosi just scorches the earth in practice, it will be very hard for him to prove that he is a better winner than Malik based on Maliks body of work under live fire.

It will be Malik's job to lose during the offseason.

"It will be Malik's job to lose during the offseason" As it should be. I don't disagree and I feel like I know what we have with Malik. I don't spend a lot of time on hypotheticals. It is definitely Malik's job, he just cannot be above competition when we go into this offseason. Everything about Miami is competition and I don't think this staff intends to hold anyone back. So if Malik wins again this offseason, I will be just as pleased as someone else winning. I will be confident this coaching staff picked the individual who they believe gives us the best shot.

After today’s game I guarantee he won’t wait another year. Malik will not be the starting QB next year.

Trying to gain perspective here...trying not to react...but, if Malik is to be questioned, then we have to look at Searels and Hartley as well.

I thought it was hilarious that some thought Malik was going to be gifted the start job next year due to the team's record. The reason we have the record we have is because of our defense, in spite of Rosier. We need to hope and pray that Perry develops in the off season. Rosier should not be our starter.

Perry blew it by not EE,he could be the starting QB right now like the QB for Pitt.

Special teams has been mediocre, which is on Hartley. Our o-line has improved, partly because we have a QB that doesn't stand in the pocket like a statue.

Perry lost to both Rosier and Evan, he isn't what everyone made him out to be.

Not so sure Perry will be sitting behind Rozier next season.

Next week will let us know a ton about him.

Are you saying Nkosi, hes just not that good overall as a talent or are you saying in terms of him not being able to beat out Malik and Evan with barely two months last off season??
