Mitch Trubisky and his bank account laugh at the clowns that think there's some massive NFL value in playing right away in college.
Hope Rosier leaves after the season, his erratic play and low a$$ throws ain’t getting any better next year

Great points all around. And let's not anoint perry yet. Recruit the best possible QBs in 2018 and 2019. Make whoever wins the job beat out other guys who are starting Power 5 caliber. I want Perry, Weldon, Probably Williams and hopefully an EE 2019 5 star going at each other with everything they have in an open competition once Rosier leaves. Why would Rosier leave early? Rosier's not going to get drafted. Also, he's not the best QB in the league. But in terms of grit and "clutch" (can't believe I just used that), he doesn't get rattled and keeps his ish together.
Rosier's emergence is a blessing. It allows Perry another year in the system as well as gain good weight so he's better prepared for the day Rosier leaves.
Another poster claiming Jarren Williams as the future when he hasn’t taken a college snap. Did the same with Perry too. I swear, high school seniors get better every single year!
Let them compete.
Yes, Perry clearly needs to find a FBS school that only carries 1 or 2 QBs on their roster. He certainly wouldn't want any QBs recruited before or after him, that'd just be unfortunate.
Dumb dumb the main thought is about playing time not competition although Jarren would come in this class. Don't be so naive to think there are certain things looked at for example 2 other qbs waiting in the wings. We need far more help at other positions right now Nikosi is good enough to be our guy for the future. We need to keep him happy he can do things Rozier cannot. I am sure its in CMRs plans for next year to give him a certail role.
Just awful OP
I don't think this is a far out question. I think if it's not being said the thought is there that Nkosi expected to play early. My example of giving him playing time might be a short term option to appease the kid. Instead of just arbitrarily disagree with this post tell me honestly is this the scenario we had for him when he was recruited. Precarious is exactly what it is.
Perry was probably mad as a mug when Sitkowski "flipped." Got to earn it for real now
bottom line is this. Not for this defense and turnovers we would of lost 3 games. Some of the throws Malik misses are crazy. I am glad he is growing, and getting better. He has ice in his veins for sure. All I am saying his film demands an open competition. If Perry knows the playbook, and is as deadly accurate as I have heard. It will be hard to justify sitting him after a full off season.
He impressed everyone just had to fine tune his decision making and knowing the offense. If he develops into our best option in a year and puts the work in, then that is just what it is.
