Did Nkosi know he might have to wait two years

Mitch Trubisky and his bank account laugh at the clowns that think there's some massive NFL value in playing right away in college.

I don't believe Rosier has a lock on the starting job. If Perry outplays Rosier in spring, Richt would be stupid to not give Perry playing time.

Rosier has been erratic this year. The offense hasn't been able to reach peak efficiency because it is held back by Rosier. Perry, if he understands the offense, will be given every opportunity to win, as will Jarren Williams if he comes.

Really don't want to think to much about next year, but I hope all our QB situations involve open competitions each year going forward.

Rosier will most certainly be the starter next year seeing that he’s 10-0..soon to be 11-0 with a conf title appearance.

He does hold the offense back in efficiency but Richt will go with the sure thing. Perry will get minutes in blowouts and maybe a drive here and there in non-blowouts.

Once Williams commits, we are fine at QB both in the present and future.

N'Kosi Perry is a true Freshman. He wasn't here for the spring. He and Jarren will have a monster throwdown in 2019 for the spot. Be patient

Hope Rosier leaves after the season, his erratic play and low a$$ throws ain’t getting any better next year

Put down the angel dust. You'd want a RS Senior proven winner to leave early? You're not satisfied with how we've played and want to turn the whole thing over to unproven kids? Possibly the most retarded logic I've seen here today

Why would Rosier leave early? Rosier's not going to get drafted. Also, he's not the best QB in the league. But in terms of grit and "clutch" (can't believe I just used that), he doesn't get rattled and keeps his ish together.

Rosier's emergence is a blessing. It allows Perry another year in the system as well as gain good weight so he's better prepared for the day Rosier leaves.

Great points all around. And let's not anoint perry yet. Recruit the best possible QBs in 2018 and 2019. Make whoever wins the job beat out other guys who are starting Power 5 caliber. I want Perry, Weldon, Probably Williams and hopefully an EE 2019 5 star going at each other with everything they have in an open competition once Rosier leaves.

Another poster claiming Jarren Williams as the future when he hasn’t taken a college snap. Did the same with Perry too. I swear, high school seniors get better every single year!

Let them compete.

Exactly. But on the real Perry looked really good in high school and Williams looks dope. I'd also want a stud Early Enrolee in 2019. Stack chips and settle playing time at Greentree

All you need to know about RoSier is he’s 11-0.If he gets to 15-0 Perry ain’t starting next year ....I dont care if he’s the second coming of Dan Marino. You don’t switch out an undefeated QB...

We are one hit away from needing a stellar back-up. ... aka Noles.

Yearby is a classic example of missed opportunities ... he could have made hay this year with Wlaton's injury. Instead he took a transfer.

I know that recent years, it is a trendy thing for a freshman or sophomore to be handed a QB job.... It is better if they start as a junior and have 2 years to play.

Yes, Perry clearly needs to find a FBS school that only carries 1 or 2 QBs on their roster. He certainly wouldn't want any QBs recruited before or after him, that'd just be unfortunate.

Dumb dumb the main thought is about playing time not competition although Jarren would come in this class. Don't be so naive to think there are certain things looked at for example 2 other qbs waiting in the wings. We need far more help at other positions right now Nikosi is good enough to be our guy for the future. We need to keep him happy he can do things Rozier cannot. I am sure its in CMRs plans for next year to give him a certail role.

So you want to give someone playing time that hasn't earned it through competition?

That's a great idea.

Just awful OP

I don't think this is a far out question. I think if it's not being said the thought is there that Nkosi expected to play early. My example of giving him playing time might be a short term option to appease the kid. Instead of just arbitrarily disagree with this post tell me honestly is this the scenario we had for him when he was recruited. Precarious is exactly what it is.

bottom line is this. Not for this defense and turnovers we would of lost 3 games. Some of the throws Malik misses are crazy. I am glad he is growing, and getting better. He has ice in his veins for sure. All I am saying his film demands an open competition. If Perry knows the playbook, and is as deadly accurate as I have heard. It will be hard to justify sitting him after a full off season.

He impressed everyone just had to fine tune his decision making and knowing the offense. If he develops into our best option in a year and puts the work in, then that is just what it is.

For N'Kosi to unseat a RS Senior incumbent starter in Rosier he better be 2010 Cam Newton at Practice. I mean God-like, undeniably ******* amazing. Rosier has won 10 games, lost zero, has us in playoff contention and has rallied the team. The chances of Rosier not being next years starter barring injury are 0.00000000001%.
