Like the majority, I was not happy with the finish. We whiffed on a few. However, I think the class was very good.

Looking at the King of recruiting, it appears they whiffed on a **** ton of players. What says the board? Tides a changing?

Nothing will change with Bama until Saban retires.

Eh, even if they whiffed on anyone, that just means one less 4* or 5* in their 6-deep of blue chippers. They've stacked chips every year for so many years that it's going to take a lot more for things to change (i.e. Saban needs to leave or die).

They didn't finish as good as usual, Georgia definitely hurt them, but they had a pretty good class. They finished rated above us while taking 4 less players. It isn't necessarily the "Bama standard" we are used to but they did pretty well, and I would say it is too soon to say things are changing, especially since they just won another Natty.

It was a sub-par (for them) signing day. Any other team would have been ecstatic though.

Two they really wanted DL Brown went to A&M and LB Walker flipped to Ga. Kurby put hurting on Saban this year.

Bama's bagman completely underestimated this new signing day rule. Look for adjustments next year.

Or... don't be surprise if the NCAA removes the rule all together cuz Alabama and a lot of SEC teams suffered but UGA.

UGA hurt them. They'll come back down to earth though when Fart takes another L to the magical Hawaiian

They addressed their needs and that is what matters. Yeah they missed on a few players but that was because those players realized they would be on the bench if they were to go to bama. Kids want to play immediately now.

This is actually good for us. The war of attrition that is sure to follow between UGA and bammer will make each of them utilize a lot of resources and give us an opening.

Siphoning players from Saban to Kirby is better for CFB because I don’t think Kirby will turn UGA into Alabama, in my opinion, he’ll turn UGA into a slightly upgraded version of the Rick teams, barely, not much more. 9-11 wins a year max and no playoffs Last year was a fluke. That’s how I see it.

In the meantime, he’ll be making Bama weaker.

Saban is fuming. Saban will fight back. Dirty tricks will be employed. There will be more scrutiny.

This could be good for us in a Sun Tzu kind of way.

He looks like he's hurting. That trophy looks heavy.. Way to show him, Kirby

Actually, you are correct. Their fans are ****ed at the 'poor' showing. My Pops is a huge Bama fan (born and raised in Alabama) and was laughing yesterday about how their boards were in meltdown mode over NSD.

They literally expect to have no less than a top 3 class year in, year out. Can't wait until they fall back to Earth once Saban is gone.
