Just think it's funny when people just say bags like it takes bama paying people to go there

Dude has won 4 titles there and a dynasty that rivals our 80's years. We didn't have to pay people back then to get players, they don't either

If the kid goes to bama it's because he's immature and disloyal, not because he got paid.

Agreed. Are we paying Asante and Jarren to suddenly be interested in us? **** happens.

You never went to college, did you?

Anybody who went to Miami knows we don't pay kids. And only those in complete denial think Bama doesn't.

It must be sad going through life as naive as you are

I went to Miami douche

Guys at Miami personally told me that they were offered money by Bama but turned it down.

All you guys sound soft. We aren’t backing down from Bama! Keep fighting! Recruiting is what keeps be tuned in the off season.

its not backing down from Bama, its backing off of a kid that has zero integrity...

That's how I feel. Every year a kid pulls this crap, and I'll never believe it's NOT about getting a bigger pay day at the school that has protection from the NCAA to drop bags. I'd drop his butt and focus on others who have no character issues, and **** near equal talent.

It’s not that simple, you know how many of our great canes were indecisive of wanting to be a cane? That era just didn’t have social media to show it

So how would you know Brock. Give us some examples that we don’t know about.

It’s common sense. Two different eras of football. If you put those guys and have them grow up in this day in age that’s exactly how they would be

jhtheking says it doesn't happen though. I think we gotta trust the guy that has no idea what he's talking about over, someone who was on the team. Sorry Austin.

On the real, thank you for continuing to post on here. Hope everything is going well

I'm happy to be a voice for the people

Extreme naivety on display right here.

Bama could be paying him six figures.
If they do then every school does and it's not an advantage.

It's naive to assume we only lose recruits because of bags. I don't like bama either but sometimes kids wanna go there

Every recruit we've lost the last 15 years on these boards and grassy has been because of bags and not because the kid wants to go there or championships (when we had golden and couldn't offer that )

So no, I'm not naive. And I'm also not a moron that says "bags" EVERY **** time a recruit goes elsewhere.. especially when it's to the program that has dominated the last 10 years

Now if he went to ole Miss and hugh freeze like those kids a few years ago when they came out of nowhere and got #1 recruiting classes???? That's bags

Why wouldn't they report it? You could take down Bama so easily then

Not sure the exact details in each case but I had heard it from several guys. I'd find it hard to believe that these dealings would be communicated over text/email etc where there would be a trail of evidence. Therefore it becomes a he said/he said deal and its probably not worth the effort for recruits to report it especially with a lack of concrete evidence to back their claims.

Forget which LB it was that it was known that Auburn was offering 100k to go there...and he ended up at Alabama. They pay kids or their families, and obviously not the only ones. Ole Miss got greedy by trying to do too much, too soon. Alabama is just the product of a well-oiled bag machine with an elite coach who knows how to get the most out of the best talent money can buy.

Ruben Foster

Yup. Dude even had an Auburn tattoo

IMO, it's not the college directly doing it but businesses in Alabama who give the kids cars, clothes cash ect. I lived in Bama for 10 years, everyone knows the kids get things. Not even sure it's illegal if they are not boosters, but not sure about that, maybe someone in the know can answer that. Kids having 30k+++ cars with 5+++ wheels that don't work with clothes I wouldn't buy for myself just doesn't appear out of thin air. One running back it is well known his girlfriend and daughter were well taken care of. I guess it probably is illegal if the kids take something for free, I remember a few Miami kids taking a free dinner and they were roasted for it. The NCAA is out of control, somehow these kids should be compensated, but that's just my opinion.

Usually when schools do this, the person doing the payment is so disconnected from the school there is no money trace possible so it would be a waste. Also, you're asking the NCAA to take down the school that is driving it's profit.

Cash comes from guys that have absolutely zero ties to the University. I've seen 5 kids go to Bama in the last 4 years. 3 definitely were compensated. 1 definitely was not. And the other showed no signs (no car). All were at least 4-star guys

So its basically huge fans and or boosters with deep pockets that follow the teams recruiting very closely and see when they need to step in whether they were directed by the staff or not. Its just a given these peeps will get it done?

Our coaches are setting Jobe up to look like such a spineless turn coat. Love it.

I don't think the coaches are doing that. The staff is full have great men and Jobe has formed a good relationship with Banda, don't think the staff wants Jobe to look bad no matter what school he picks. Heard the kid changes his mind every time 10 minutes.

Where’d you hear that????

Sauces who know the kid, said he's not meaning to troll anyone just changes his mind a lot. But did also say he's Bama. Read my previous post about when he 110% committed to Miami. Ghosted us for 2 weeks that's why Banda went to Conn. Wanted to hear it from him that he's wasn't coming, didn't want to let the kid of easy and have him cop out and do it for the phone.
