With Miami still looking to add to our 2025 dline class let's discuss 2025 3* DT Devon Oliver from Parkway HS in Louisiana. The 6'4" 290lbs dline who is also a state champion in track & field ( 54ft shot put), all district in football, and has selfreported 4.0 GPA is still uncommitted & unsigned after ESD.
Looking at his highlights he does play with a high hat and is stiff, but he has a high motor and is country strong. He reminds me a lot of current UM DT Simone Barrow. However I think Olivers future is adding 20lbs and becoming a stout but high motor NT or 1-Tech interior dlinemen.
With Coach Guidry being a Louisiana boi I am surprised this young man hasn't had the tires kicked in his recruitment ( or maybe he has some undisclosed recruiting no go demons).
