Football is officially back today, as College GameDay was live from Dublin for Florida State versus Georgia Tech. Analyst and former Michigan WR Desmond Howard included the Hurricanes in his 12-team College Football Playoff lineup.



Howard put the Hurricanes as a three-seed, as you can see in the full bracket above:

He has been a Homer for us but given most of the crew picked fsu to win the acc what does that tell you

Clemson is still TBD but they weren’t great last year and the non use of the portal makes me think how much better can they be

All signs point to us being the ‘team to beat’ but the gameday blunders are still a legitimate concern until proven otherwise

A player-driven culture of hard work & leadership with the right mix of talent; when the team realizes each weekend the real opponent is themselves. That's why Johnson famously said 'not about he Xs & Os, it's about the Jimmies and Joes".

I think Mario has created a culture of competition and elevated the talent-level enough to create that special sauce. Now it's about proof of concept, infectious confidence, & trying to dominate opponents.
