Kid looks like a beast! It says he plays both OL and DL. How’s his DL skills? Or are we strictly viewing him as OL? I’m good either way - he would be an excellent addition to the recruiting class

Jackson’s father, Robert has a connection to Miami, that is one of the reasons why the Hurricanes made the cut for the highly regarded prospects.

“I trust them and they have been loyal to me,” Woods said. “The offensive line coach (Garin Justice) coached with Devon’s dad and when he trusts them I trust them. They are going to lose six lineman next year so the early playing time is there.”

Devon Jackson has also been complimentary of us, but Woods gives us some solid info into the Jackson family.

An O-lineman playing early is an ominous sign, they usually aren't ready. I don't want him to be another Herbert/Hillery

Hillery was not a legit power 5 lineman so it was his talent not rushed opportunity that led to his college career. If he's the fifth best, or better, out of Walker, Seymoure, Rodriguez, McLaughlin, Washington, Nelson and the other returnees no need to sit him.

We likely lose williams, gaynor, donaldson, traore, hillery, herbert(if he's still even here by 2021 seasons end), and of course the possibility of a portal loss so I hope Justice is pushing the future depth chart being much thinner to this kid as he'd have a legit chance to be a backup immediately.
