I assume that he will qualify & be here in the fall.
That being said, looking at his size & frame, along with our current roster, I think he'll be a redshirt in football while bulking up for TE, but starting as power forward next season for JL's defending nat'l champs.
Even if Cleveland is here in fall (doubtfull), he graduates, leaving Sandland as a senior and Dobard as a RSFrosh in 2014, along w/ O'Donnel.

Yo man...you be tryna redshirt entire classes lol We ain't that good yet bro. A lot of these dudes are better than a lot of what we have, thanks to the ****** 2010 class and compromised 2011 class.

This is an easy discussion. If he can help the team he plays, if he can't help the team he RS

Very good, I never understood why people are concerned about a season 4 years from now (the extra year of eligibility).

If we were loaded with 6'6 animals who cause red zone mismatches all the time better than him I could see it. Dont think we have that luxury though

"Yeah, if he qualifies, he may actually be the best player in this class... ."

I agree, with you, but disagree w/ Jerzey. I'm lookin' at our roster & his size. Seems like he can be a GREAT TE, plus we are pretty much loaded at WR this year. Give him a year to bulk up (including his GPA) and play BB alone. Then we have an excellent TE for at least 3 years. Remember, Sandland only has 2 years here.

If he is better than the other players at his position he will play. Then he can use the off season to bulk up if that is what the coaches want him to do.

He still looks like he's going to be a TE to me, I guess because of his height. If, and it's a big IF he qualifies, I have a feeling he'll have trouble making it on the field until at least the middle of the year, and wouldn't be surprised if he redshirts. I think he's going to put on weight and become kind of a hybrid TE that can split out wide.

Golden and Coley definitely didn't make it seem like they were planning on red shirting him. They are excited to see what he will be capable of doing.

Golden wants to win now. I don't think we'll see any punches pulled this season. Hopefully it amounts to wins.

He plays WR lets keep it that way ever think that the kid cant block a DE or OLB he is so big and athletic we need him split out wide to create match up problems

Don't forget about Walford. He came on strong at the end of last year. On paper the TE position is set for the next 4 years.
