Derek Kerstetter 2017 3* Olinemen from San Antonio, Tx should get a long look from Miami , especially considering UM's need of tackle types he can play RT or LT an even slide down to guard.
Kerstetter is from Coach Banda's hometown so this should be a possible flip for Miami if Banda can use use his local connections to get in with young man even though it is late in the process. He committed to Oklahoma St. in the spring. OKST took 6 olinemen in the 2016 class so playing time would be tight for a while at OKST where as at Miami it is wide open.
He is slated to play in the Army All American game he is one of the few 3* players selected. Kerstetter is a 6'6" 300lbs mauler that plays with good bend and finishes his blocks to the whistle! He reminds me of another former Texas olinemen that came to Miami, Jason Fox.
