So how does Hurns have an OR next to his name after last week
 
Not too many changes, good to see Henderson traveling with the team. Would love to see some overloaded sets with him and Flowers.

Time for Deon Bush to start at S.

You never know about Hurns, but here are some possibilities:

-Wrong routes run
-Poor blocking on running plays
-Coaches feel another just deserves a shot after seeing Hurns

Not saying the above happened per say, but it's tough to judge a guy when you don't evaluate the tape critically like a coach would.
 
I absolutely HATE that Dallas Crawford is getting overlooked... makes me sick to my stomach. Get that man some playing time damnit!
 
maybe i'm nitpicking but i'd love to see Duke returning punts rather than kickoffs. returning punts is a tough assignment so it's a rough job for a freshman. but i'd like to see him get a shot at it with his acceleration by the end of the year

In an interview he did at the start of camp he said something to the effect that he was not used to the hang time of college punters. He was used to most punts in high school bouncing to him and thus wasn't as comfortable fielding them as the other couple of guys.

I don't remember where I read that, but I did.

Hurns dropped that TD... in the endzone it was behind a smidgen, but definitely a ball that should have been caught. I hope this week he catches everything. 8 for 81 is a good start I expect to see a lot more vertical routes this weekend.
