I have to say... The backups on the OLINE really impressed me.
Frankie Tinilau / Luis Cristobal and my dude...Tommy Kindler did a **** of a job vs FAMU.
Saw some Okunlola get some good burn.
I would even dare say they did a better job running the ball than the 1st team. They had great push.
Coach Mirabal will be proud when he sees the film. Thank you Coach !!

I thought they were just okay. Kinsler got beaten badly off the edge one time that killed a drive. Franconvilla blocked well but his shotgun snaps were helium balloons. There's a lot more talent there than in past years but I wouldn't trust many of these guys to jump in right now against top competition.

Yeah this. Kinsler to me was blown by numerous times lol

Samson’s effort and focus was really bad in that game. Hope it is a one-off. That type of attitude can be cancerous in a locker room for developing players

Hope we recruit someone to replace him unless he turns his mindset around

I’m not understanding why Kinsler is playing OT. I thought he was a prototype at OG.

Bell will adjust to the speed difference. He’s not in JUCO anymore. Even Mt McKinnie had to redshirt to adjust. We shouldn’t expect much from him this year.

Did Antonio Tripp play any snaps?

Beginning to question whether or not he exists.

is it not because Rivers was out so Bell had to start?

Yeah, I am not seeing the Kinsler at OT experiment. I know people love talking about his athletic ability but he screams guard to me. Feeling better about Bell at LT.

Samson is underwhelming to me. I'm hoping it's him still working through that rust and learning the position, but he has quite a bit to go before he's ready for primetime. Games like these are huge for him.

OL lineup will be interesting next year. Do they move FM inside to make room for Samson?

Need to keep in mind that two backups played as starters, so went 11 or 12 deep. Bell will get coached up, but not sure we’d be comfortable with him at LT during meat of season

I'm just glad they are able to get into the game and get some real burn, can only help down the line.

If Samson improves he should be the lt and if bell improves he should be the rt and have cece at LG he looks like a mauling LG

Anyone notice Plazz? I didn’t notice him when I rewatched it but the team social put a post out of all the true freshmen that played and he was on it.

I like McCoy at LG. He's a road grater. Francis at RG makes sense to me.

As for LT, Bell seemed much more natural at Pass pro and he can be a mauler in the run game as well. There's a reason Samson is getting reps at RT. We need a huge spring from him.

JMO but I think Cece has really played well at RT so far this year. To me it looks like he has taken the next step in his development.
Maybe I'm wrong but so far I haven't seen him give up anything.

The second-team oline was an atrocity. Kinsler looked terrible, Francavilla's snaps were complete lobs to the quarterback, and Okunlola played like he'd rather be sleeping. FAMU DL strong-armed them on multiple occasions.

I 💬 cece could be a LT RT LG OR RG. I just think that if bell and Samson live up to potential they will probably be the lt and rt and move cece inside because to me cece is more suitable as a mauling guard.
