Deon McIntosh, RB, EMCC (by way of Notre Dame)

Kenny and RJs brother. Dismissed from Notre Dame in the summer...but went to East Mississippi Community College. He's currently balling the fvck out for the undefeated Lions.

Through 10 games - 165/969/16 TDs (leads the nation) on the ground, 16/99 through the air.

Looking around...247 doesn't say much about this year.

Is he even in the mix as a 2019 JUCO croot or is he doing two years @ EMCC for some unnecessary reason?

If he's eligible and ready to play next year and not returning to Notre Dame...would be my first call post-Crowley decommit.

This board is full of positive news today -- first the word on the belated contacting of Bryant, now this.

Your attitude is awful and its killing every thread. There are pople here that are actually tryna be productive instead of throwing little hoe tantrums. If this is all so hard on you then turn your computer off for a few months and check back in on signing day or something.

Not that hard on me any more Cuban-Cane, getting used to losing and the **** I have been seeing. I am a die hard and know we are better than the product we have put on the field the last 3 weeks. Is more just frustration with the MR hire. I thought he would do something great here and it appears to be more of a failure at this point. I will put the shades on and try and be more positive.
 
I didn't know our RB situation was this dire?? lol

Homer isn't going pro, DJ, Lingawww, Cam, (whoever signs in 2019 we will get at minimum one)

Just opens up 2020 to more slots and more favorable playing time

You need one.

I don't care if its Kenny McIntosh, Deon McIntosh, Nayquan Wright or an eye test 3* kid.

The position itself is rock solid, but depth is always needed. Core special teamers are also needed. Its my opinion that every position, every year should be addressed. Add someone new and keep things fresh and keep others accountable for their spot.

Agreed, Rb isn’t a pressing need. Take one at most this cycle and sell out for Chaney and Bowman for 2020. You have 5 backs next year if you don’t take anyone.

I guess you didnt read my full post...

I listed a 2019 in the depth because we will sign one just a matter of who takes the chance to possibly be the only RB croot we have which someone will grab at

Don't let any corch tell you otherwise: we need to take at least SOMEONE at the position every year.
 
We don’t need a RB as much as 6 OL, 8 DL, 1QB! To the point that we don’t agree to take a RB until we are 100% sure those three positions groups are signed.

I would rather focus on DL, OL, and QB, but Deon McIntosh will be a really nice pick up. The dude has great speed and good enough size. I remember when he played for cardinal gibbons and he was one of the RB that Miami was recruiting in 2015, but didnt do enough to get him, which if he was a priority we would have definitely got him.

Please. We really aren’t helping at all. Pouring it on will do nothing unless Richts in the hot seat and we wanna apply pressure which he isn’t and shouldnt be yet. All this negativity around our program does nothing but harm. I respect your passion and I love that about our fans but let’s try to be constructive and not radical.
 
Coached against him while he was in high school. Wasn't a fan. Not explosive enough for my liking, we completely shut him down. He's doing very well right now though.
