I think we'll get better as the season progresses. Zero pressure on the QB makes DB's look bad too.


Once Bush, Howard and Crawford get some games under their belt we will get better with time.


I keep hoping VT will get better, but I'm about out of hope there.

First thoughts:

The Good:
Duke, Morris, M Lewis, OL (for the most part), Perryman, Bush, McGee (minus a couple plays), Eddie Johnson (great caused fumble, that wasn't luck), kick coverage, Botts, Claw, No players looking gassed, WE FINALLY MADE A GOAL LINE STAND! LATE IN A GAME!

The Bad:
DTs, Buchanan (reserve right to change this after review), excessive horizontal stuff inside the 10, Rodgers, Hoped for more to/from our TEs

The Ugly:
KT, VT, BC's 97 passes to players with no Cane within 15 yards of them, OUR DEFENSIVE ENDS MIGHT AS WELL BE NON-EXISTENT FML

Bush looks very physical for a true frosh, he needs more snaps, we were better when he was in the game. I stuck op for K. Rodgers this off-season, but he was awful today. So was VT.

I always figured Bush would play safety so I don't see why to bother saying he's not a safety. We're pretty loaded at CB so someone has to move over.


Did anyone see if Crawford played much? I'm as excited about him as the other freshman too.

VT is just bad. I think he's regressed every season here. Finnie was solid all game with coverage and had some nice tackles. Howard was ok. Gunter barely played. I don't think Crawford got a snap. Bush looked good. Mcgee had some really nice tackles and probably played his best game as a cane today. He looked a lot better.

I was one of those people, the main leader of that. But looks like I was wrong

Both Deon And Finnie played very well today. Not perfect, but both got beter as the game went along. All they need is reps to be better. VT was a HUGE disappointment today.

You expect guys like Rogers (hasn't played much) and Howard to make mistakes but Telemaque was lost out there. Hopefully as Bush and the other young guys get more comfortable, we see less of him out there.
