Does it have anything to do with the rumor that he sent the Mizzou playbook to all the SEC schools when Odom didn't retain him when he took over the program? That is a rumor that MANY believe to be true. I guess he burned a lot of bridges on his way out once Pinkel was gone. He was also criticized for his recruiting. Great developer but weak recruiter.

Never heard that one before. Wouldn't a new coaching staff bring in their own playbook though?

Odom was the D-Coordinator under Pinkel when Pinkel retired and Kul had always been the Dline coach through all of Pinks DC's.

Odom was promoted to HC and let Kul go. I guess Kul and Odom didn't see eye to eye and Kul assumed he would then get the DC job but instead shown the door.

Rumor goes that Kul then sent out the playbook.

I know everyone likes to jerk themselves to stars but have you all not seen what cool can do? Ffs, he can probably turn Harley and Jeff Thomas into All-ACC Defensive Tackles if he wanted to, that's how good he is.

Nobody is doubting his coaching/development but lets also not turn a blind eye to the overall performance of his job duties which includes recruiting top end talent which is needed to compete for National Championships.

I think representing the U it gets a little easier but you still have get 4-5 stars every year at DT. I get you can find stud 3 star under the radar talents but he should also be able to land 1-2 4/5 stars every class.

Just because a coach isn’t listed as a primary recruiter doesn’t mean that they don’t play any part in recruiting that specific target. That’s not how college football recruiting works

Hes the best teacher but we dont know if he was the guy identifying talent, and the struggles with getting DTs this year is concerning as ****. Maybe we are panicking for no reason but maybe its something, I guess we will find out in a couple years.

Couldn't he be sued over something like that? And Richt wouldn't hire a guy like that. If that happened the people in the know wouldn't be ****** posters on a messageboard. Richt would know.

Couldn't he be sued over something like that? And Richt wouldn't hire a guy like that. If that happened the people in the know wouldn't be ****** posters on a messageboard. Richt would know.

I find it incredibly hard to believe that he would do that. I don't think it's just Richt that wouldn't hire him.

Pretty sure doing something like that would get you blackballed from coaching college and NFL.

I think we should put the full court press, this kid as a prospect has major potential
