#93 - Tackles for Loss
#74 - Rushing Defense
#65 - Total Defense (400.5 yards per game)
#65 - Red Zone Defense
#64 - First Down's Allowed
#58 - 3rd down %

Keep in mind, this is with FAU and SSU in the numbers that inflates these atrocious numbers. We are in the bottom half of defense nationally in these major categories above with a DC in his 3rd year. Just threw up in my mouth.

Every team plays teams like SSU and FAU. We aren't the only team with cupcakes on the schedule.

does anyone have total yards allowed for dorito's term here? im curious if we have allowed more yards this year with two remaining games then the previous two full seasons

Someone posted the offensive rankings of the teams we have played. It was unbelievably bad. Syracuse can shutout Wake and hold them under 200 yards of offense but people are saying the problem is talent. VT has been shut down by the likes of Duke, East Carolina, Pitt and Maryland but Miami's problem is talent? **** even Marshall was able to keep their pathetic offense is check. Western Carolina didn't give up as many yards as us against VT. North Carolina Central held Duke to less points and yards than we did. BUt yeah, its Miami's lack of talent that's the problem.

If the talent level was sufficient, they would be able to execute any scheme. If the scheme was sufficient, but the talent was lacking, it seems unlikely that the defense would be as bad as we're seeing. We have more than a scheme problem, and more than a talent problem.

Gave up 360 yds/game in 2011, 486 last year, and averaging 403.5 yds/game so far this season. Pts/game are 20.1, 30.5, and 25.5, respectively.

If scheme was good it would mask poor talent. If the talent was good it would mask a poor scheme

We are dead last in the ACC in yards allowed in conference play. And giving up 34.5 points a game in conference play.

We dipped in 5 of 6 categories after playing UVA. Anyone feel free to send those numbers to Blake James and copy Donna Shalala on it. Please and thanks
