I think the staff knew....thats why they offered Chatfield late and Elijiah wade/the UNC commit late.

Like RB, WR, or DB, we really shouldnt be leaving the state for DL or LB.

Take the top 2 to 3 in the state that you can get every year and we'll be goodm

Oklahoma was 67th in the country in total defense and 68th in scoring defense. I get wanting offer him but that part about being good enough to play at Oklahoma doesn't help your case.

I know it's been mentioned, but what's the best guess as to why Bonnitto hasn't been offered yet?

Ive beem on the Bomnito bandwagon for a min and we shouldve offered him a while ago...

But theres gotta be some red flags goimg on there we dont know about for FSU and UF to also not be on him. At least that's what Im telling myself to soften watching him go to OU when he wants to be here.

And as I’ve said multiple time, Bonnitto was way down on their board. I will check again to see if something changed, but they really were not a fan of his frame and room to grow.

So if Carson is a DT and Bonnitto is a long shot, is there any other option outside of Chatfield?

The DJ Johnson news is a disappointment.

We need another DE in the class.

You can never, ever be thin on the DL and expect to do anything.

They are definitely recruiting other defensive ends. Just haven’t gotten the names yet
