It was pretty much what I thought it would be, but at least we gave it a shot, right? Miami's offense and defense are just really bad and tough to sit through. Their offense is honestly awful; it feels like all they do is shoot threes over and over again. During the Wake Forest game, i counted 8 possessions in a row we went without a paint touch by jacking up threes. This team is mentally drained and we clearly need Nijel and Divine back.

But the main part why Miami is doing so bad is because of Miami's off-ball defense has been pretty weak, especially when we look back at the FSU game. How many times are we going to let Bol Bowen score 20 points while going 4 for 4 from three-point range without hedging his side on defense? Then in the Wake Forest game, we let Hildreth drop 31 points, hitting 6 out of 8 from beyond the arc. And in the Duke game, we completely ignored Kneuppel, who ended up with 25 points and shot 6 for 8 from three. I really don’t get what’s going on with our off-ball defense; it clearly isn’t working at all.

We struggle inside & out, and it's simple to defeat this team. All you need to do is play aggressively against us, force us to make one pass and shoot, and hit us in the mouth early. If you do that, you can easily win against us.

What are your thoughts, let’s talk.

Kidd is a poor defender regardless. That being said, some of it falls on individual effort. I don't see this team hustling

Nijrl is probably not coming back. Well, unless that means playing for a new (college) team next season
