I'm not even sure it's the offense... King just looks bad and confused... In all fairness, o-line couldn't block anyone. The other kid, Pratt didn't get any run?
Atlantic must be better than the sum of its parts? Beat MNW in spring right? Any other D1 seniors besides Bryant?

They honestly should beat Atlantic by 2 scores. Atlantic isnt a sorry squad or anything...but DB has/had a huge talent advantage..and got punched in the mouth it looked like.
Carol City will likely bully them this week, but if they are clicking they could beat them. Saint Johns and St Thomas will be tough for them as well.
Carol City has better athletes than Atlantic so will be interesting to see how that goes this week.

Few quick thoughts: Knighton is a BIG time talent. Dude looked like a complete back and it sucks he’s going to FSU. Restrepo is that classic south Florida dawg. Not sure what position he ends up at but he’s a dude you bring into your locker room and let him set the tone. Deerfield’s QB is horrible lol.
No disrespect but with all that talent, has to be a little bit of an upset right? Even if you don't consider it a "shock"

Its an upset no way around it. Atlantic always is a pretty good program. This deerfield beach team is playing a national schedule. That aint a good look. They have Carol City, St Thomas, Some team from Louisiana, and the DC team down the pike. If they play the same they lose all 4 games.

Knighton is definitely a beast. Chaney vs Knighton is going to be a fun battle for years to come. Restrepo is just a pure football player. He’ll figure it haha. Just bring him in and where ever he starts ballin is where you play him. The kid just knows the game. King has been playing varsity since he was a freshman or sophomore. He should be further along. I was disappointed with what I saw in those clips. He was forcing passes into double coverage when he had options open.

Agreed. I’m sure his offensive line isn’t good but he attempted a bunch of throws that would make me go insane as a coach. Deerfield has a ton of talent but not sure how it will all work out.
I thought they had the Pratt kid tho?

They're (Atlantic) in class 8A and have been making the playoffs pretty much every year...loss to Dr. Phillips in state finals in 2017...those boys are good and the fact that Deerfield and Delray are only separated by Boca (even though they're in different counties) makes it a game that everyone brings their "A" game for

Yea he just transferred in. Derohn has been a varsity starter since 9th grade. Their ol i believe has 2 div 1 ol as well...not sure if they played up to that level though. Atlantic dl looked to be causing trouble..thye seem to have 2 div 1 caliber guys too
