Db recruiting is fine

We should be going after the game changing line man that's what is the biggest distance between us and elite not Campbell or surtain

CJ Henderson had 22 tackles, 4 INT's, and 2 pick sixes as a Freshman this year. I highly doubt all 4 of our signed DB's will have a better season than that. Despite you defending this staff at all costs, losing Henderson still hurt. Your statement will prove to be incorrect.

Negged. Don't remind me.. can't believe we let dude get away to UF no less. Having him and Bandy would of also help our chances even more getting Jobe.

If Rumph fails on the AH kids. Rumph I love y'all but you gotta go. Average coach, horrible recruiter.

Meant to go back and edit outside of Henderson we weren’t missing much with rest. He’s good but he was beat a lot too

Jobe was never coming here. I don't know how people couldn't grasp that.
 
I agree that we have a sick DB class regardless but letting Jobe, Samuel, Campbell, and Surtain all get out of South Florida is a pretty big failure. Although as of this point we still have a chance with two of them.
 
Anything less than landing 2 of Jobe, Samuels, Campbell, and Surtain was the minimum acceptance level on this board 3 months ago. Why has that changed all of sudden?

We do need to land Campbell but I don't get why everyone is so down on our DB class. Ivey and Gil are so slept on it's crazy. Not to forget Hall and Blades, who will both be animals. If we get Campbell, I don't see how you can rate our DB class less than an A+ regardless of what else happens.
 
I had never even considered that Richt would move on from Rumph until now. He always talks about keeping the staff together. Pete has said Richt put an emphasis on this class. This was the one he planned on changing the program with. That has to mean he knew exactly which key players he wanted in this class when he got here. So I'm kinda starting to think that's the main reason he hired Rumph to begin with. He hired the AH head coach to get the players he wanted in his big class. Rumph, being a former player at Miami & in the NFL, just made it a better looking hire. Or.. Richt hired him because he thought he'd make a good coach. Either way let's hope he recruits Tyson like his job depends on it.
