Db recruiting is fine

Why the obsession with more dbs?
Even if we don't get a single more we are good to do
Add those four to dean bandy Carter jj were good for 2018 and 2019
Watch the film our skill guys don't ever look like a class below we can match up physically

But in the trenches not so much.

Why not the same level of threads about the trench guys as there are about dbs?

We just signed 4 really talented DBs, but Miami landing Al Blades Jr. doesn't require a herculean recruiting effort considering his bloodlines.

If Campbell signs an LOI to any school other than Miami, there's no justification for keeping Rumph around. And that's how many felt when he was first hired, so that's not moving goalposts. You can't have 2 DB coaches on one staff and fail to land Campbell/Surtain/Jobe/Samuel after last year's #watchthefinish debacle.

None of the dBs we recruited down the stretch are as good as the ones we just signed period
 
Why is Rumphs job tied to getting this or that recruit. Never heard of anything like that before. He needs to put elite CB's on the field. Doesn't matter where they come from.

I'm confident of Ty coming. Everything is pointing to that. I don't dwell on negative what-ifs in life.
 
Campbell is far more superior then blades and ivey

I'm quiet sure Rump already told Campbell he is a day 1 starter at the U barring injury..

Next year I expect bandy and young to play the same position, can’t have both out on the field at the same time

He’s more superior than every dB in the country including Surtain. That’s not saying much
 
We need Campbell, plain and simple. Losing Jobe hurt and not getting Surtain is disappointing but you can't get them all, still have to at least land Campbell.

I agree with you, but I also am VERY comfortable with the DBs Miami has already signed and would trade Tyson Campbell straight up for Michael Thompson (if, of course, Miami couldn’t get Michael Thompson). DTs, to me, are more important.
