What would you think about a class of

Te’Cory Couch - undersized, but with great coverage ability
Jarvis Brownlee - also a little smaller, but team likes his toughness and mentality
Damarius Good - high upside with crazy speed and athleticism
Keontra Smith - big hitter who would be great in the box SS/Striker

Plus
Tyrique Stevenson - could be great at safety or CB
Jordan Battle - seem to have closed gap on OSU, hopefully keep up momentum and land him as FS, great range and ball skills

Mark-Anthony Richards - athlete whi the coaches have said could play both ways.

Dont forget Cornelius Nunn may be in the mix as well. Idk much about the kid but is he more of a CB or S?

need to land the big dogs for it to be a good class following up last years. The current group i dont see as instant competitors for pt other than Smith. Guys like Battle, Gant, Stevenson, Richards are guys that will steal reps from upperclassmen.

Like I said before we need to pull 2 out of 3 Stevenson, Battle, MAR. Hopefully Stevenson is 1 of the 2 but in the unlikey chance we miss on 2 i think Nunn is a good back up plan. I kinda see Good's measurables but with more DB experience and plays against Dade county competition.

Couch is Tiny. Brownlee aint that small and definately dont play small.
Couch is skinny, but long for 5’9.5.

Dude is a great cover db, love his potential.

Brownlee looks a legit 5’11 just hope we can hang on to him. He’s blowing up.

Committed elsewhere today

Dude is a lot better then I thought and heard around here. I honestly had no idea he was such a good athlete. He’d be a nice late addition if we miss on the other guys

Like I said, Syracuse was the leader. He was up there on an official and popped. I heard this recruitment is NOT OVER and would expect it to heat up if he backs up his good spring/summer with a strong senior season.

Right now, he is a backup plan, I pause to use that word because he is an ascending prospect. If Battle goes to OSU, as it looks unfortunately, then I think he's in the class given Diaz's affinity for local defensive players.

Backpedaling 101.

This would be a top 5 DB class in 19. Few national level players plus some top under the radar local guys

How many South Florida kids stick to their 1st commitment?

Kentucky, Pitt, Louisville, Syracuse, Rutgers, Marshall... The Usual Suspects of the "Find a Dade/Broward County Gem then try to keep them" game.

I think that's an A+...Or A at the worst. Safety a little stronger than corner obviously but not ruling out any of the bottom 3 playing corner.
