“I was really excited because I’ve always been a Miami fan,” Singleton said. “My coach texted me and said I got an offer from Miami. I was like, ‘Miami who?’ and then he told me. It was just big, because that was one of the major schools I wanted to go to.”

Singleton received the offer from head coach Mario Cristobal and viewed the offer as an achievement. He didn’t think any programs were paying attention to him after sitting behind five-star receiver Johntay Cook II last season, a 2023 Texas signee, but Miami’s offer shows the level of faith the Canes have in him and is helping place Miami on his radar. His playing time was also limited his sophomore year after he pulled his hamstring.

Singleton plans to be in Daytona (FL) in early March and will travel to Miami to visit Coral Gables March 4. He recently visited SMU for a junior day but does not have anything else planned until March after the February dead period ends.
