Had 2 big plays in this game.

1) The catch on the sideline on 3rd down
2) He laid the cut block on BC's DB that sprung Malcom Lewis free on the screen.

Exciting thing about this game (being that it was 1st game) almost EVERYONE made a play in the game lol
That's gotta be great for team moral and motivation moving forward.

Like Golden talks about... everyone has a role and it may be just that... 1 catch and 1 big block... but I bet the kid was excited.

Good to see him contribute on O. Will definitely be a big part of special teams too, but nice to see they were able to pull him out of the scrap heap and get production. Hoping for the same from Lewis and Ben Jones.
 
Seems like it was a lifetime ago that he was making a diving catch on a deep ball that Robert Marve overthrew in Charlottesville. (The game that Jacory, Alderius, and Byrd ripped UVA's hearts out)
 
He's always had talent (I liked him more than Collier coming out of BTW) and whenever he's gotten burn he's made plays (diving TD catch at UNC in 08). He seems like one of those awful practice players who still gets things done in games but these guys put a lot of stock in what players do in practice so that probably hurts him.

You´re right, DP...

Golden talked about this last season citing E. Clements as an example... Master your role and you will see an increase of playing time.

I bet DJ will see more PT against K.State.

Not to beat a horse, but what's KT's role?

I've always loved DJ. I've wished that he'd be in the slot since Collier left.
 
Kid is talented but he is always hurt... I just want him to remain healthy and that'll be an accomplishment... He hasn't been healthy since 08...
