DAILY DEBATE: Which incoming transfer (non-QB) will make the biggest impact?

Zachariah Poyser. Basically guaranteed a starting spot so he'll see probably like 90% of total defensive snaps (as long as he's healthy) and is legitimately good.

I wanted to say Lucas but I think he'll end up splitting snaps with O'Connor, Damari, OJ, etc. Bauman is another that will be forced into a high impact role but I don't see an elite talent there that will alter games for us; he'll definitely have moments where he flashes though.

I'm going WR CJ Daniels
(I reserve the right to change after the Spring portal window (incoming class) closes.
If you’re right… and I’m not saying you’re not but if the biggest impact transfer isn’t on the defensive side I think we’re in trouble.

Daniels could go for 1,000 but if teams can still pass against us at will then Daniels impact is minimal because we’re going to lose a lot of games regardless

As a former WR I chose not to go defensively since most posters did...My first choice was Poyser

However, to your point I hear ya but with all the defensive upgrades and infusion of talent on that side of the ball, we're still going to need the offense to score therefore we need some major production especially with Cam gone.

I think we will need to bump this thread in the spring because I believe we will land our biggest whale in the spring.
