Tonight there was a true freshman playing left tackle for vt , and our d line got owned. No pressure no nothing. Unc had freshman starting on o line too and same thing. Chick and shayon can't even dominate 18 year olds. Cover 2 doesn't work if your front 4 are garbage.

Completely agree. Been saying it for a while. Was so surprised people thought that rushing 4 and dropping 7 against FSU was a good idea...or against any team this year. If your front 4 can get at least SOME pressure and if your back 7 can actually cover the right areas then I'm all for it, but we can't seem to do either...we had 2 sacks tonight though on a Perryman blitz which was nice...can't remember the last time we blitzed him like that.

Our dline sucks. Fat overweight DTs and DE that get little push. They got their **** pushed in tonite. Embarrassing display. we could go 8-4 , 7-5!!!!!!! process that!!

Scheme isn't helping our DLine, that's all I have to say about that.

Watch the game and you can tell what Chick, Pierre, Renfrow, Porter, etc. are being asked to do.

Green/Chick may be the worst pass rush DE combination ever. You can't honestly tell me McCord/AQM are that bad against the run they can't see the field on 1st/2nd down. Not that it matters. We'd just run more awful stunts when they're in the game anyways.
