D.C. Canes!

So I just PCS from (Great Lakes) Chicago to the Pentagon about a week ago. (Still in the Navy) What's some cool spots in D.C. to catch a game?

I hope D.C. is cool man seeing as I gotta be here for two years smh.

God I hate that traffic on 95!!!! Insane.. You should be able to drive to Baltimore and find many good spots. Plenty to do there. IDK much about DC other than the ****** traffic.

Official DC Canes bar is now Penn Sports Quarter Tavern this year, don't know if it's good though since this is the first year. DC is pretty legit though, I can hit you with some suggestions if you need, moved back here a couple years ago after graduating UM.

Thanks everybody. Just trying to get used to driving around here and I'll definitely check out Penn Sports Quarter Tavern if my fellow canes will be in there.
You're right about those away games. UVA, UMD, VT, UNC, Duke, NCST. I'll definitely try to make this years UNC game. It's going to be great during basketball season with as many games as college hoops teams play.

Doesn't seem too bad as far as location. I'll spend some time sightseeing before it gets cold.

Crystal City Sports Pub, which is roughly 1 mile from the Pentagon, is good spot as well. 23d Street, just off of Rt 1.

Where in DC? Old Town Alexandria has some nice places and is a good quite area once you get close to the river. Not sure how often they'll show Miami playing though.

From time to time me and a few friends will meet up at Buffalo Wild Wings to catch Canes games in Woodbridge or Crystal City. Also we have made trips to UVA the past few years. Also planning on going to UNC and possibly Pitt this year. Will definitely let fellow DC Canes know in case you all want to meet up and catch some games.
