After watching this kid at SB(my son just graduated from there) and then seeing him do really well in the spring I'm excited for his future. So many wanted to move him to CB but the kid is a really good RB IMO. He will have a strong fall camp IMO.

Did you have an opportunity to see him with your own eyes in the Spring?

I’m excited to see a bunch of these guys get burn and be put into situations to excel.

Still might get moved to CB eventually. Loaded RB room only gonna get more loaded next year. I like him as a prospect a lot but he's gonna be buried for a couple years at least.

Loaded? Entering 2024 season, we only have 1 proven and healthy rb (Martinez). Fletcher is talented and proven but no one knows how long he’ll be out for and/or if he’ll return to his healthy form from lisfranc injury.

Lyles is obviously talented but he still needs to prove it (I’m not pessimistic at all as I’m high on him. But we have brought in multple high ranked RBs in last several classes and most of them have disappointed or became injury prone).

CJ is a speedster but he’s unproven and he’s not a 3 down back in my opinion.

I’m not saying CWH will make or break the rb room but this team’s rb depth is far from “loaded”. We need 3-4 proven, talented, and healthy RBs on yearly basis. Also, since you mentioned next years class, we are only bringing in 1 rb per D$. And our current only proven/talented/healthy rb (Martinez) will be replaced (roster spot specifically) by an unproven future freshman rb. So no, next year is not more loaded by any means as of right now.

I'm old enough to remember us recruiting Marshall Faulk. We told him he would never be a running back at the U and would only take him as a corner. The rest is history.

This **** is so tired. How many college football teams have 3-4 proven running backs year to year? 4 proven running backs?? What??
