There are no locks outside of Nesta
This, and anyone who thinks otherwise hasn’t been paying attention to us repeatedly being burned over the last 2 weeks
Repeatedly?
Jobe I’ll give you
Bottom line we could have had Samuel if we recruited him earlier
Goldwire we didn’t even send him a letter of intent to even signs
On top of that we signed a class where 70% of them were 4 stars or higher which is elite recruiting
We signed an elite class thus far, no doubt about it. But my burn comment is derived from the false bravado the staff has seemingly had, when there have been OBVIOUS red flags with several kids.
Judas the Cuck was playing us for months, and we went and made a mockery of ourselves posting all that ST26 **** after he defecated on our faces.
I don’t care tha we didn’t sign Samuel, because as you said, we were on him late. I care that we made Samuel a plan B kid after allowing Judas to string us along for months and occupy a spot in our class, that could’ve gone to a kid like Samuel. And then after making him a plan B, all we send is Banda to his house, while we ridicule Tagfart for visiting him at school and “wasting his in home” with him. Wasn’t such a wasted in home after all now was it. If we’re trying to flip a kid last minute or at least prevent him from signing during the early period, you don’t just send one coach to close the deal. You ****ing send the house sans Richt, to lock the kid down.
I don’t care how much of a plan B he was. The fact he committed to the Holes who have no DC and just barely went 6-6 this year is an abomination.
And why would we send Goldwire a NLI when we know he’s going to sign with Louisville? Sounds like a waste of paper to me. I haven’t read anything from anyone with knowledge of the situation saying that we cooled on Goldwire. From all accounts, we just didn’t lock him up and he decided that Pttino and his neck brace gave him a better opportunity to succeed in the league than we did. How that is acceptable to anyone confounds me.
Plain and simple, we did a phenomenal job of recruiting early on, but we have been shutting the bed as of late.
