Didn't like what I saw from Crow in the spring game in terms of his feet and throwing motion.....but he's still young and you'll have better luck winning the lottery and projecting the growth/improvement of young inexperienced QB's a year out of high school.

Not to go overboard with this report but it is interesting that Crow was immediately identified and targeted by this staff, and promptly left for dead by the entire fanbase. Now he is at least pushing for the back-up job everyone had given to Dewey.

I think you can do a lot worse then Williams as a back up QB. Has experience, started D1 games, smart, etc. Christ we had to burn a not ready Stephen Morris' schollie a few years ago because we had a 2nd string D2 reject as a backup.

That is hurting us now, could have 2 years left of Morris if this were right
