The four-star was a somewhat surprise commitment in April when he chose the Wolverines over Miami (FL) and Tennessee among others. With his recruitment now open again, the Hurricanes will likely become the heavy favorite to keep Couch closer to home as he's been on campus multiple times since his original pledge to the Wolverines.

Couch n davis should have been on our committed list for awhile now. They are better than Brownlee and Good. Where do Stevenson, Richards, Sang, Battle, or anyone else fit?

My only concern with Couch is his weight and frame.

He looks really good on tape. Fast, rangy and fluid.

Unsure if he has the frame to add quality weight and deal with next level physicality.

FWIW, the staff likes his frame/growth potential more than Davis.

This is what happened. We took our shot with the other so called “Elite” DB’s and for whatever reason it didn’t work out. Fine, now on to plan B. This is exactly how you want the staff to operate. Well done on their part.
