Maybe I'm misunderstanding. "Out of State" lock? Meaning you think he'll go elsewhere? It's hard to say with Holmes but he would have to be crazy to go elsewhere with how we feature our WR's. Of course he may be looking at the depth chart too.
 
He's an OOS lock..Notre Dame, Michigan, & Oklahoma are his top choices. Then we come in after.

Sorry for not being clear....I meant that I've heard many people on this site that he wants to go to college out of state

His numbers last season at STA werent terrible. My Canes have a nice history with STA WRs so your porst doesnt mean **** to me.

um ok... His numbers are going to be even better this year at STA but I dont put much into high school stats obviously you do. You really believe he plays like a 4.4-4.5 guy?

Holmes is a stud. Probably the 2nd best receiver down here after Lane. Michigan, ND, Oklahoma are all in good position.

For a "combine kid," he played pretty **** well in a game I saw last year...

let me make this clear I am not saying he suckS just that he doesn't play like the combine numbers (4.4 4.5 40 PLAYER) he is going to have a huge year at STA. I think the same of Dixon not that either are bad players they both are pretty **** good just not as good as the combine numbers would lead one to believe IMO.
 
I see where you're coming from, but I disagree. I think both Dixon and Holmes have great potential. Not on Lane's level, but definitely BCS caliber.
 
i agree holmes doesnt play like a speed player but he has baby soft hands, i think he has the best HANDS in florida IMO
