Congrats to Dorsett & E. Johnson

Saw that, but Manuel had great numbers and beat a better team.

Was hoping Duke's 200 AP yards might have been good enough for his third ROW.

I really wonder about Clemson's defense. From the Orange Bowl to this game.

You only wonder about it because FSU gashed it.
Brent Venebles was once considered for the UM HC'ing job. He's a great DC... next season they will be clicking on all cylinders.

Good to see Miami & FSU back at the top of awards like this. I know they are sort of meaningless... but in years past we've been MIA in these POW rankings.

Clemson is young and thin at defense. They wore out in the 2nd half. And if there is a team you don't want to wear out against it's FSU.

If we go into our battle with FSU healthy, I think we can hang.
Our OL matches up pretty well with their front 7.
If we play mistake free football I like our chances.

Yes...that's a freshman and sophomore earning All-ACC respect. Not to mention another freshman, Duke Johnson with a couple weekly honors already under his belt. Pretty awesome stuff.

This. DL is the strength of FSU, but OL has been the strength of ours despite some mistakes made against Kansas State. I still think they were alright in that game and a lot of the errors came down to Morris not adequately managing his pocket skills. If the kid stops taking 15 step drops and learns to comfortably move inside from pressure on the edge (thereby allowing the OT's to move in and negating the DE speed advantage) they could be perceived as one of the best in the NCAA.

I hate FSU, but them mofos look to be in early 90's mode right now, and thompson can scoot.......

To hang with FSU we need Perryman and Kirby to have a game or two under their belts.

I agree about our offense hanging. If the OL keeps improving and Morris can too, we can beat them.

It would be nice to have Porter by then too.

If you thought KSU had a field day rushing on the edge against our tackles, you haven't seen anything yet. We are going to have to hold TEs and backs in A LOT to chip Werner and company. Interior of the line, I think, can hold up against the Noles DTs, but those ends.... eeeesh. Very, very difficult assignment.

No doubt FSU is better there, but I think KSU was a case of us beating ourselves vs. a good d-line (plus Morris not navigating the pocket). If our O-line plays to potential and Morris gets a little more comfortable, we do alright.

He does deserve it cuz he did more but don't make it sound like Clemson has an amazing defense
