It showed. That offensive line is lean and mean. No hands on on hips guys looking like the hard work paid off.

Defensive line actually played a lot better (****** as opposed to apocraphyl) in the second half. For not much depth that was a good sign.

By mid 3rd quarter you could really tell BC was getting tired. We did look slow at the very end with the hurry up no huddle.

Said this last year even in our losses and took heat for it. Al Golden has got these guys doing the LITTLE things right. This team has a LONG way to go. LOT of youth, and the DT situation is absolutely disasterous, but these guys have MUCH better fundementals than anything we have seen in almost a decade at UM. We can tackle, strip balls, run proper routes, block, and conditioning is the best its been in a decade.

Golden may not be Vince Lombardi yet, but he's really building the core of this team into solid granite. If we can just get some depth, experience and a DL, this team will be scary in another year or two.

He's gotta be scouring the JUCO's for at least 1 DL and 1 DE this year. We could be a top 15 club with the addition of a couple guys rolling into next year.

Its a process.

Utough definetly showed today, team looked great in the 2nd half

What impressed me the most was the offense ran no huddle most of the game and looked good/not wore down

The offense running the tempo it did all game without looking winded makes me happy. We are physically there on offense, haven't been in a long time.

Defense looked weak. Couldn't shed blocks. Maybe not conditioning, maybe not even physical. Just something missing. They sucked it up big time.

Honestly I just don't think we are very talented on D. The talent is too young. You can be well conditioned but if the skill isn't there it doesn't matter much.

The only problem on Defense, with the exception of the DL, is youth. WE have a lot of young guys out there. They are going to make mistakes, and they are still physically under developed. I think the LBs looked pretty good, Perryman is a beast. DBs looked decent. VT is mediocre but he is what he is. If we can get some **** DL, this defense is going to be very good in another year or two.
