I just have to say the BIGGEST positive that I took away from this game was that our entire team got STRONGER as the game went on. This to me, is the most noticeable positive that we should take away from yesterday. We enter the 4th quarter having a close game on our hands and we blow the doors open....can't remember the last time our Canes did that against a quality opponent.

Conditioning and depth are the two reasons for this.

Thank you Al Golden!!!:neonu:

Yup. As I posted in another thread, we've outscored our opponents 91-47 in the second half, including the USF and GT garbage TDs in the last 10 seconds of those games.

As I also posted in another thread, this is the biggest thing that the Don has done to get this program back on track. he has done other things but this is the biggest.

After seeing numerous star defenders like Clowney and Easley sucking win in the 1st quarter early in the season, then watching Chickillo go balls out until the end of games, playing practically every snap against Florida and GT, it's pretty obvious that our guys have really bought into the S & C program.
Just like the 80's and 90's Canes.
