"I'm shocked,” Plantation (Fla.) South Plantation five-star running back Alex Collins said via text. “I didn't think he was leaving anywhere. I know he liked being at FSU and was solid with them. I understand the reason behind him leaving and it's good for him and his family, but it's just hard to believe that he's not going to be there and at another school. “It's just like when 'Coach B' (Bret Bielema) left Wisconsin,” Collins added. “I was shocked, but I understand it.” Collins, a former Miami commitment, is still considering a few schools. Does Florida State remain one of them“I'm still really interested in FSU, but right now, I'm just trying to take this in,” Collins said. “It's really surprising."

Collins added that he will make a final decision after he takes official visits to Florida and Miami. He said he will call the Florida State coaches tonight to discuss Coach Gran's departure and what their plan is going forward. While Collins is a target at the running back position, St. Petersburg (Fla.) Catholic four-star running back Ryan Green has been committed to the Seminoles for several months.

As long as he takes his OV here, I'm feeling good about our chances.

I mean obviously this means if signing day was yesterday he would be a nole. But thankfully signing day is in February, and we have agent al golden on the case.

Kid is probably confused as ****. The people telling him how much they needed him at UW and FSU bolted. Come on down Alex

It seems like nobody wants to see which of our current guys develop. Guys like Grimble, Hamilton, Ivery, Moore, or Pierre Develop. They were all talented coming out of school everyone thought they would come and dominate. It's only really a bust if not developed by the Junior year. Give our Freshman and Sophomores a break
