Portal and NIL will hit a mesh point. At some point transferring needs to be trimmed/penalized/disincentivized.
Total Whorehouse Football

Serious question - At what point does this model fuse with or surpass the NFL?

I never thought weed would be legal.

I agree with you but there are no rules, no CBA, no unions, etc right now. Imagine if Miami wanted to pony up $25m to retain Ward next year. If eligibility wasn’t an issue, why wouldn’t he come back?
Good point. However, do you think enough players would have such an opportunity so the average college player salary was more than NFL players?

Probably not, but I also think that the entirety of college football is still in the middle of a massive transformation. Think of it like Bruce Jenner’s transformation into Caitlyn. I think we are currently at the point when people first started questioning what was up with Bruce Jenner. We got a long way to go.

I live in California.
It’s legal. It’s more potent than it was 30 years ago. It’s also cheaper than it was 30 years ago BEFORE adjusting for inflation. It also provides a lot of tax dollars for our state and local governments to pi$s away NOT solving homelessness.
That was meant to be tongue in cheek

Never.

These jabronis are ****ing off their bread and butter - alumni and /or die hard fans.

They are also relying on alumni and die hard charity to help fund "the program." Call me crazy, but that doesn't seem like a very good plan.

I don't see the viability in it as the costs continue to sky rocket.

Thanks for sharing.

It’s fixed though Boise State and Arizona State are in the top 4 LMAO

I am all for it but they will never do it. Would like to see it Regional so Nebraska, Texas, Texas A&M back in the Big 12 and ditto Oklahoma. Colorado.

USC, UCLA, Zona, Washington and Oregon back to the Big 10

I mentioned before how it was nice when the Rose Bowl was East vs West.

Notre Dame can stay Independent if they want but can’t play anyone in a conference until the Playoffs.

Playoffs would be pretty awesome
