Anyone hear fermann says that fsu's Coker would be graduating early and seeking to transfer to either Bama or Miami? Haven't seen this here. Haven't heard it from my contacts. So wanted to know if anyone has.

Has expressed interest in bama.

He is grasping at straws, only connection is Coley. He is making **** up.

This is the second time that I've heard this. Although, I'm not sure what the benefit is to UM.
We will be stocked at QB and Williams will be challenged for the starting spot by Olsen.

People who post here who know whats up within the program have posted saying that coach Golden is actively looking for a QB to transfer in for next season.

Put me in the category of fans who would be really annoyed if we brought in FSU's hand me down QB and dissed kids who've been in the program for 2-4 years.

Bottom line: Coach Coley needs to get WAY better before next season.

If the boy can ball, bring him in. Anything else is crazy.

We had poor QB play all year, and we have 3 guys behind him who couldn't beat him out. If you think we are "Stocked" then we are Equally stocked at DT next year.

Competition needs to determine who gets the gig and I am all for bringing in somebody from out of house to try and shake things up a bit.

I'd be in the category of wanting the best QB we can possibly have starting next year and if thats out of house so be it. I think Coley did a good job considering it was his first time calling plays and Morris was erratic on his best days. I think with a year to reflect upon what he learned, as well as a better understanding of our talent, he will be much better.

I'll put it this way. There are things I didn't love, but I wouldn't blame any of our losses on him. The one biggest area of improvement for me would either be using the middle of the field (didn't trust Morris?) and communicating with O-line coach (didn't always seem so in sync)

Coach Coley will have Duke and Coley next year and a dead otter could figure out something to do with those guys.

Fairy German read that **** on this board and is now acting like he heard it from someone with connections.

I don't know, worked pretty well when we took UF's hand me down.

Reports going into the season were that Coker and Winston were pretty close; I dont know how true that is but if it is, that would suggest Coker aint too shabby.

Also, I would think Coker might want to wait a bit to see how the rape accusations against Winston play out.

I know this has been discussed before, but I don't think we used the middle of the field much last year either which makes me think that either Morris doesn't like throwing there (unless it was a deep route) or if the coaches didn't trust him (unless it was a deep route).

Give me the best QB....Williams couldn't beat out an injured Morris, and Olsen will be a RS Freshman. Bring in Coker and if he wins the job then so be it.

I don't care if satans daughter comes here as qb long as we win. No offense to Ryan or anyone else. Don't care who, just care about results. By this logic spencer whipples of the world should get he shot because they have been here.

Our best QB in the past decade in Brock Berlin was a U*** cast off transfer

Let that sink in... :crownpour:

Thanx for the replies.

On the ability of Coker: I can tell you that my in-law is a big Seminole booster and spoke to him about it a few minutes ago. Said he hadn't heard anything concrete on Coker BUT that ability wise, inside fsu they will tell you it was almost a toss up between him and Winston. Also, of note, spoke highly of coley as a qb coach and mentor back when he made the switch to Miami. FWIW.

If a kid can help us out, he can help us out..lol, that isnt a smart idea to just turn away a kid just because he went to fsu for a few years. I believe that you would feel differently if this guy was a defensive lineman or a linebacker lol.
