Coaching staff going to watch a QB tonight

Andrew Ivins has a story on 247 that says some of the staff is going to watch a QB play tonight. Said QB is committed to an SEC school. Anyone know which QB? My best guess is Jarren Williams but not fully sure.

Either Martinez or Williams, by my guess. They both are committed to $EC schools.

Jarren Williams..jon richt going to see him per the article. says Jarren wants to start day 1 so thats why its been hard for other teams to flip him cause he will start day 1 at kentucky.
 
UK ppl are very worried about losing him...dad has been making a lot of comments that his son is tired of losing (highschool team sucks) and wants to win right away.

Lol at starting from day 1. First of all he’s not good enough to start from day 1 at a good school. Let him be a nobody at Kentucky. Come in and compete for the job.

lol if he wants to start at day 1, might as cross that Ohio State off too. Somehow JT Barrett will be there for 10 more years. But even still, he'd have a **** of a time starting there over the other guys they have after Barrett leaves.

Lol his team doesnt suck. Theyre just young and they play in the toughest league in the south. If they win tonight, theyre in the playoffs...
 
Ohio State will start Haskins the next 2 years so playing time shouldn't be a factor. I want Williams and think we can land him
 
my young dawg JRicht flying up to georgia to see a recruit the night before the biggest game of the season. Don't tell me my staff ain't working.

Exactly
And they signed a 5* last year in Martel too. We can sell an easier path to compete and I hope the staff pounds this in his head. We also have an extreme amount of weapons for him. It can definitely be done.
 
glad we are going after another qb...however, prefer jon to be in CG working with rosier for tomorrow.

I don't know the inner workings of what's going on down there, but I'd imagine that they probably had a walk-through this morning and JR will head up to Atlanta afterwards. Besides, it's the day before the game. The game plan is already in, if he needs that much work before tomorrow then there are way bigger concerns.

I want Michael Johnson Jr. He looks like the next lamar jackson and his highlights are ELITE!!!

Hes fast as **** he can throw off the run really well and throws a nice deep ball

Hes from oregon though so it could be a hard pull although per 247 his top 4 is oregon ohio state michigan and LSU so we could potentially get him

He posted a score prediction that we win this weekend if that means anything

He'd have a great chance of early playing time at UK, but his annual ceiling will be finishing 8-5 and going to the Birmingham Bowl - in a good year.

Suckeyes -- He won't see the field for the next 3 years with what they already have at the position in front of him.

We can make a great case for him to come in and compete for playing time as a RF or RS and be a part of a winning program.
