Mario will have to evaluate his coaching staff in the off season. Some coaches must have to go in order for Miami to take the next step - championship step

As I be always sayin and believing, we better step up the assistant pay and thereby quality. Cristobal is a younger Orgeron…pretty **** good position coach, very solid recruiter….requires great coaching around him.

True, but who’s about to potentially hire his third DC in four years? I’m also not convinced Guidry is 100% the issue here, but I wouldn’t argue against it.
I don't think Guidry is the primary issue, but a lights-out DC gets us to a next level. Let Mario close in recruiting and have no other involvement.

Enjoy this season if you still can.

A championship step might involve a championship-caliber HC.

How many players has Mario recruited that as of right now, you can point to and say “wow, that’s elite”?

Again it’s too early to completely assess everyone, I get that. But we’ve got 100+ players to choose from. Can you name 10 elite players?

No, not even close.
I’m not even trying to be an ***. It’s upsetting. We all expect massive things. We have a more expensive roster than Ohio State, if you can believe that. And no, I’m not just pulling that out of my ***.

We are regressing not just on defense, but on offense too.

Is that the sign of a well-coached team? It’s absolutely maddening people defend this. We’re off a bye. We canceled visits allegedly to focus on games. We are a 23 point favorite against a very, very bad ACC team.
