We sign coaches to multi year contracts.. if we fire them they sit around and collect. But they can just up and leave and break a contract?

Dont we have claus that they have to stay at the ver least x amount of months? maybe they can't just jump to a rival program mid season and give away all our secrets?

doesn't the school protect itself similar to how the coach tries to protect their pocket?
