I was told that Mario Cristobal did an in-home visit with Jeremy Kerr last night. It will be interesting to see if he still takes an unofficial this weekend.

Don't be so sure. There is other info out there that points to Miami pushing him away.

Any guesses why Cristobal would go see him then? They couldn't be that classy, could they?

I could see it as classy as being a man and telling him face to face that you aren't in his plans. Who knows though we're speculating at this point we'll know more as NSD approaches.

I can't fathom Mario going in person to tell him to **** off.

I don' understand this kid as a prospect, though. What's his deal?

It's simple, Golden wants a TE who can block, we don't have one on the team. Maybe Sandland? Maybe Standish? But Kerr was going have a role here which Golden has wanted since he's got here the two TE set to pound the ball.

Historically, when coaches are trying to cut bait, they don't take a group to go visit the guy. They stop showing love, take time to return calls if at all, and then may tell the guy to go look elsewhere.

Maybe they'll drop him, but the behavior as of today does not suggest that.

Given how much trash has been talked about this kid, I am starting to have no doubt that he will become a very good player for us.

Assuming he will still be on the team....Dye.

This. It's also important to remember Cristobal was an OL in his college days they may also think the kid grows into an OT by year 2.
