Lashlee gets a ton of deserved credit here

But in 2022 with our starting QB absolutely REELING week to week we actually had more yards on offense under Dawson than Lashlee and that’s one year after we had the most historically ****** offense in our history

And of course Cam is an absurd talent but watching our fans talk Dawson down while also freaking out that Cam refused to throw to wide open receivers was mind blowing

Yes but replacing two coordinators is almost never a good thing regardless of who they get replaced with.

It can maybe work if the HC is the true mastermind behind one side of the ball. But when your HC is almost entirely dependent on the coordinators to be the real installers of their philosophy, that's a scary world to live in.

I don't think Miami is at a stage where it can absorb two new coordinators. This isn't a well oiled machine that made a deep playoff run and has the foundation to absorb new blood. This is a team that is teetering on the edge of being really good and being 8-4.

A 10/11 win season and a Heisman candidate QB is a wave you have to keep riding. It's not a flag in the ground.

I'm not worried about replacing Guidry.

And if we have to replace Dawson because he moves on to a HC job, then how could we have stopped that?

For his CAREER, Mario has only had one coordinator for long than 2 years. And that one went THREE years.

We knew what we were getting when we hired him. I know I've discussed Mario's coordinator tenure more than once before.

Recruit better players and rely less on the portal. Play your young kids so they stay. You then use that fact when recruiting.

Coordinators then less important because you already have the pieces in place.

There are 12 teams in the playoffs so there are other coordinators out there. Building a defense.
