For those who know - why do some coaches excell at recruiting while others struggle?
CMR is killin it.

It's just like why some kids are popular and some aren't. Richt is a confident smooth talker that becomes friends with everyone. Golden seemed more like the purported nice guy that thinks he deserves to have good recruits.

Also, from everything I've heard/learned, Richt seems very genuine, especially in comparison to other coaches around the country. He seems to let his players be themselves for the most part, without getting too crazy.

Parents of recruits would find Richt the kind of person with whom they would entrust their kids .Saban,supposedly
misses nothing when he walks into a recruits' home complimenting the woman on her choice of drapes in the
living room.
