Between the last 2 Oline classes this is how I’ll rank the guys
Donaldson
Scaife
Reed
Herbert
Gaynor
Campbell
Hillary
Dykstra

moves effortlessly for a big kid....very athletic....still need to add a big-time OT to solidify the class....IMO

Dykstra is a very intriguing kid. Wouldn’t shock me if he ends up one of the better OL from this group but I‎t will take some years

The OL will be a critical position for us next year and will determine whether or not we take the next step. So looking at the group, we lose Darling and McDermott - manageable losses. In the addition to the 8 you've listed above, we return St. Louis and Mahoney which gives us hopefully 10 that we can count on.

The biggest question is whether or not we will get any productivity out of these four: Jones, Milo, Brown and Tre Johnson. It's going to be a critical Spring for them. Johnson gets the benefit of being a RF, but the other 3 barring a miracle will be asked to pursue opportunities at a different program.

Would love for us to be 12-deep of true contributors across the OL, so if 2 of the 4 borderliners can step up, we are in good shape. I have my doubts though so we will see.

Now can any of the 4 u asked about play DT . Next year when we play GT we should play a 5/2 4

Looks pretty good at DT in those few plays too haha

Would love that move .

I’m a big believer that too many kids are put in a box as players. If I was a HC I would take 3-4 Lineman a year and redshirt them and try them on both sides of the ball and let it play out after that. You would always have better depth and guys would play earlier. You would also hit on more players. Don’t really see the downside if you can find the right players

Norton was listed as a 4 star OG coming out of high school. I feel like OG and DT are similar when it comes to the athletes that play them.

He’s a perfect example. But I’ve seen a few guys this year that I would bring in as “Athletes” and let it play out on the field

Reed is very good. So happy to have him in this class. I think he'll help us in the run game the most, where we just aren't strong enough with Gauthier, Mahoney and Darling to "impose our will" as Richt likes to say.

McDermott gets a bad rap. Kid had a few misses, and needed a little more strength to win in the run game. But he mostly locked down the pass rush from the blind side all year. I think he'll find a team on Sundays, and am not sure who replaces him. I sure hope Herbert, Brown & Jones are ready to go by next season.
