Golden, in his after NSD presser, alluded to an injury to Clements that may be career ending. Anybody know what's up with this, or did I mis-hear what he said? Will he be available for spring workouts?

Is that what he had? ****, I was totally unaware of it. Ready for spring? Will he compete again? Who knows?

Clements is all but done

Too many RB's that are talented and HEALTHY playing on this team right now.

I actually asked Clements on twitter, He did not answer me. I do however follow him and he seems to be working to get back. I dont think he is done thats for sure. That dude will battle for PT this yr IMO.

you gotta come in with a significantly better post than that if you want to rock a big font, son

I wish him the best of luck with his health. If he is able to play again with us I see him only as a special teams monster.

No he won't

If anything he will redshirt if he hasnt already

Neck injuries are 50/50...even if he (clements) thinks he could play and feels good the MD's would have to clear him...they (doctors) many times are more cautious and do not clear due to the potential liabilities involved.

It will come down to the sports medicine staff. UM has one of the finest sports medicine facilities and providers in the country, he is in really good hands. Just look at what they did with Gore and Mcgahee. **** Mcgahee was squating just weeks after that horrible injury and Frank blew his knees out 2/3 times

sorry to hear about the injury. Clements ran HARD and came out of HS a highly rated RB. I am sorry for him that his college career has not panned out nicely so far. Dude made some big plays for us two years ago when healthy.

Was always surprised this kid didn't produce more. I had higher expectations for him. Wish him a full recovery.

Expected a lot more out of this kid. As much as I hate to say it, Division 1 is all about competition and production, and if Dillard (who is younger than him) matches his play, then OT won't get much action this year. If that happens, then we are going to be just fine with a bigger back because OT was not that bad honestly. He got a ton of third down and short yardage reps last season.

The addition of Elder is definitely underrated I really hope we put him in the slot and he balls out. Duke and Dillard will be just fine.

Had hoped this last season he would break out, not counting on him at this point, but.hope he does produce.

**** that sucks for him. I hope he works his butt off and gets back to being able to play ball. Good luck EC.
