Clarity on transfers & late signees??

can someone post officially of all these new names/faces who is eligible for 2013 and who is sitting?

from what i gathered:

Active for 2013: Kamalu, Derosier, Renfrow & Gilbert (i thought suttles was an option because he never started classes?)

sitting for 2013: Suttles?, Mustafa & Odems

Al and staff have me confused also. Who comin? Who playin? Dey good? How many yr to play ? Where dey from?
 
To add on to it, can someone clarify who is cleared and good to go and who we're still waiting on? It be nice for the people who are playing this year to practice.

Gilbert: supposedly waiting on final grades to come in before being cleared. We'll have word any day.
Renfrow: missing link. There's been virtually no news on him but since he's a senior, I'm guessing it's a similar case to Gilbert (any day)

I was under the impression that Settles and Mustafaa are eligible to play this fall (but won't). They are similar to guys like Greg Olsen and Earl Little - guys enrolled in other schools in August but transferred here and were eligible right away.

-Odems appears to be a walk-on.

Suttles must have registered because he practiced. Can't practice unless you are registered. That's one of the problems we have now with Derosier & Renfrow.

The semester ends tomorrow. If he doesn't know already, Gilbert will know tomorrow if he graduated.

I think Derosier and Renfrow have to get through UM's issues now. Whatever they are.
 
Golden is striving to recreate those ancient Alabama rosters where he'll stand on the sideline with 256 players.

That is not correct. Under NCAA transfer rules they must sit out one year. They are eligible to practice, but not play. [Once admitted to school, of course.]

Yes but settles allegedly never enrolled in class. mustafaa, it seems was already enrolled in the spring so it makes sense that he sits out. I believe that should make a difference in whether or not you need to sit out a year. Again, I use Greg Olsen and earl little as points of reference. Regardless, whether by RS or transfer rules, both are sitting out 2013

To be eligible to participate in organized practice sessions, a student-athlete shall be enrolled in a minimum full-time program of studies leading to a baccalaureate or equivalent degree as defined by the regulations of the certifying institution. Violations of this bylaw shall be considered institutional violations per Constitution 2.8.1; however, the violation shall not affect the student-athlete’s eligibility.
