"Look for UM to announce later today that it has booked Cincinnati for a home-and-home football series. The Bearcats will visit Sun Life Stadium in 2014 and UM will visit Cincinnati in 2015.

That leaves UM with this non-conference schedule next season: at Nebraska, home against Arkansas State, home against Florida A&M and home against Cincinnati.

The Bearcats are 8-2 this season and have won five in a row. UM had spoken to Southern Mississippi about playing in 2014, but as those talks fizzled, Cincinnati emerged as a realistic option.

The Nebraska and Arkansas State games are both part of home-and-home series. Nebraska will visit UM in 2015, and UM will visit Arkansas State in 2017."

This bull**** scheduling hurts the fans more than anything. Al and company can cry about attendance all they want but when you have this type of schedule where your marquee OOC matchup is Nebraska well then you can go **** yourself

I use to think like this before I found out we are still about 2 years away from being super competitive. So no thanks. I dont want LSU, NEB, ORE and TAMU as our OOC schedule just so we can go 4-8 and really be on suicide watch.

I have no problem with a home and home with Cincy, though they're in the AAC and its a non-BCS or whatever it'll be called now. In the 90s we played at Cincy (98) without a home game. We played Memphis in a home and home in 93 and 96, schedules made when we were at the top of college football. We played ECU in a home and away, 96 and 99. Heck in the 80s, we routinely played at ECU, Cincy and Tulsa.

The Arkansas State one is inexcusable

What's the benefit of playing teams like Cincinnati and Toledo home and away?

And are we really traveling to Arkansas State? SMH. :ohlord:

We'll play anyone, anywhere, except L$U at cowboy stadium because we'll be breaking in a new QB.
