“Overall, the trip was good,” Henderson said of his Florida trip. “It was really comfortable. I was able to watch practice and talk to the coaches.”
During his time on campus, Henderson was able to meet with Florida’s new defensive backs coach Torrian Gray. The Gators did not have a defensive backs coach in place during Henderson’s last visit.
“I talked to him the most,” Henderson said of Gray. “He likes my speed and he was telling me we are going to communicate some more and stuff like that. He’s really intense.”
Did Florida help their standing with Henderson with this latest visit?
“They were already high on my list, it just made it better. Now I’m just waiting on the season to see how Miami’s season goes and how Florida’s season goes. Then after that I will decide.”
So where does his commitment to the Hurricanes stand?
“It’s about 85-percent right now,” Henderson admitted.
The 247Sports Composite, an industry generated average, currently ranks Henderson as the nation’s No. 317 overall prospect in the 2017 class.
