Manuel looks much better than I thought he would and appears to have a very bright future.

Ponder looks to be a lost cause and the Vikings just signed Josh Freeman.

Thoughts?

Shocked about Manuel. Just shocked the dude is in the NFL and starting. I was wrong on him. I thought Ponder > Manuel and it wasn't close.

the thing with Manuel is oncethe film gets out onhim...then we can revisit...for whatever reason I STILL dont see it with him and never did....I would of took Jacory Harris over him for a one game situation.

He just always stunk it up when it mttered for FSU..and the fact that the redshirt freshman runs the fsu offense better than he ever did lets me further know.............like i said it s early int he nfl season.....guys will realize with Manuel..he has prototype size and athleticism at times though......he neever made an imperessive throw to me.

We'll have to see with Manuel. He doesn't appear to be in the Russel Wilson, Luck, RG3, class of Rookie QB. He's iight and has shown potential. Most of him reaching it or not will depend on him and and if that organization can get some ballers around him.

Coley does great work with QB's. I think both Manuel and Ponder were both very well coached at the college level and were absolutely maximized. Winston looks very good as well and I'm sure Coley taught him plenty last year.

Can't wait to see what he does with a full year to train Ryan Williams. I like that kid alot, I think he just gets the QB position.

Manuel has looked alright, looked the part at times. As an aside, how good has Robert Woods looked?

As stated, film has to get out on EJ, but at the same time, Hackett has had the training wheels on that offense all year so who knows.

Only noles fans I know hate Ponder and refuse to call him by anything other than "dumpster fire" or some iteration of a joke regarding pondering his future at K-Mart.
