This dude is 6 foot 175 as a high school senior. Just put up 2k yards and 16 TD’s in broward county and isn’t highly rated? Just laughable

I think Daylen Russell was the Miami-Dade POY last season. He doesn't seem to project well, though.

That level of comp argument may come into play at times but there are hundreds of talented kids playing against bad high schoolers weekly.

Not highly rated because of his competition I think. It’s bad. Idk if he did a lot of camps either which obviously wouldn’t help.
i can't speak on the comp ... does look suspect tho ... instead i focus on the traits ... that being said, our rb room is about to be crazy ...

They say his backup is averaging like 18 ypc too so he likely playing vs real bad competition
Because we are 6-4. If we were 8-2 this would be another great find by Mario. But mediocre UM only recruits mediocre players, or so the narrative goes.
